About

I’m Rachael, your average human 🙂

I’m from New Jersey, have lived in Manhattan, and have been in Jacksonville for the last 3 years. I’m a bit of a scatter brain however, this year I decided to give my life a little more focus. I started school again this semester (UNF, obviously) for the first time in 3-ish years to study art education, which after many major changes, I am excited and passionate to stick with. I am only 4 or 5 semesters away from a Bachelor’s Degree, woop!

I like to embrace my creative side and it gives me great personal satisfaction to do so. I do this in a wide variety of forms and outlets;  sometimes I consider myself a “jack of many trades, but a master of none”. I find myself interested in almost everything, my brain bouncing around from place to place… and there’s no telling what little or extended amount of time I may spend in each place, lol. Over time I’ve accepted this about myself, and I hope to make this blog a reflection of that characteristic: To follow my creative intuition and inspiration wherever the wind may take it, and take you there as well! 😀

Some things I like (in no particular order):

  • open mindedness and good-natured people
  • being nice
  • making jewelry and playing with beads (click here if you care to see a small glimpse of what I make)
  • painting (I’m not very good but I like to attempt)
  • craft paper, stickers and collages
  • playing with modge podge
  • friendship
  • fashion (personal fav: john galliano website)
  • rhymes
  • rhythm
  • bass
  • colors (I say glitter is a color too)
  • you ❤
  • nature (example)
  • anything strange and interesting
  • et cetera 🙂
